<p>Pulse are recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist to join an award-winning rehabilitation network on a 12-month locum contract. This is a rare opportunity to work within a unique collaboration of seven partner organisations delivering specialist rehabilitation care to adults following traumatic injury or serious illness.</p>
<p>You’ll be based across inpatient and community settings, providing neuropsychological input and psychological support to patients, families, and carers. The role combines a person-centred, humanistic approach with the scientific rigour of neuropsychology, offering a truly holistic model of care.</p>
<p>This locum post is hosted by a leading NHS Trust in partnership with local authorities across Cheshire and Merseyside, offering a dynamic and supportive environment for professional development.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br>In this role, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessments using a range of tools and methods.</li>
<li>Formulate and implement tailored psychological interventions for individuals, families, and carers.</li>
<li>Provide expert consultation and advice to MDT colleagues across the network.</li>
<li>Support care planning through early psychological formulation and risk assessment.</li>
<li>Supervise psychological staff and contribute to training and service development.</li>
<li>Lead service improvement initiatives and contribute to research and governance.</li>
</ul>
<p>Your input will be central to shaping rehabilitation pathways and improving outcomes for individuals affected by complex physical trauma and neurological conditions.</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong><br>We welcome applications from candidates who meet the following criteria:</p>
<ul>
<li>HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical)</li>
<li>Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology</li>
<li>Experience in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation settings</li>
<li>Strong formulation and intervention skills across a range of psychological models</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within MDTs</li>
</ul>
