<h3><strong>Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Adults Services</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Leeds<br><strong>Contract:</strong> Temporary (Minimum 3 months)<br><strong>Hours:</strong> Full-time (Monday to Friday) – Part-time may be considered for the right applicant</p>
<p>Our client is seeking an experienced <strong>Band 6 Occupational Therapist</strong> to join their team in Leeds. This role involves working with <strong>adult patients across a wide range of clinical areas</strong>, providing specialist occupational therapy interventions and supporting independence.</p>
<h4><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Deliver occupational therapy interventions for adults, covering:
<ul>
<li>Older people, frailty, falls, dementia</li>
<li>MSK and Neuro (including Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis)</li>
<li>Medical and orthopaedic conditions</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Independently hold, prioritize, and manage a caseload.</li>
<li>Provide <strong>long-arm advice and supervision</strong> where required.</li>
<li>Apply knowledge of <strong>Mental Capacity Act (MCA)</strong> and support patients making unwise decisions.</li>
<li>Assess and recommend <strong>equipment provision, aids, and adaptations</strong>.</li>
<li>Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Requirements:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.</li>
<li>Broad clinical experience working with adults across multiple specialties.</li>
<li>Awareness/experience of MCA and decision-making processes.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of equipment provision and adaptations.</li>
<li><strong>Car driver with access to own vehicle and business insurance</strong> (essential for commuting across hub areas).</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.</li>
</ul>
