<p></p> <div> <h3><strong>Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Community Stroke Service</strong></h3> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Hull East Riding<br><strong>Contract:</strong> Temporary</p> <p>Our client is seeking an experienced <strong>Band 6 Occupational Therapist</strong> to join their <strong>Community Stroke Service</strong> covering Hull and East Riding. This role involves providing specialist occupational therapy interventions to patients recovering from stroke in the community, supporting rehabilitation and promoting independence.</p> <h4><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions for stroke patients in a community setting.</li> <li>Complete functional assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.</li> <li>Support discharge planning and liaise with the multidisciplinary team.</li> <li>Promote independence and optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Requirements:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Degree and Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy.</li> <li>HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.</li> <li><strong>Community-based stroke experience</strong> (3 years preferable but not essential).</li> <li>Knowledge of <strong>SystmOne</strong> (desirable but not essential).</li> <li><strong>Car driver with own vehicle and business insurance</strong> (essential for covering Hull and East Riding).</li> <li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Why Join Our Client?</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Opportunity to make a significant impact on patient recovery and quality of life.</li> <li>Supportive and collaborative team environment.</li> <li>Competitive rates and flexible working arrangements.</li> </ul> </div>
