<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Consultant Histopathologist<br><strong>Grade:</strong> Consultant<br><strong>Location:</strong> South Wales<br><strong>Working Hours:</strong> Full-time, 10 PAs (with flexibility for part-time applicants)<br><strong>Salary:</strong> £105,504 – £139,882 per annum</p>
<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Consultant Histopathologist to join our client’s team of dedicated Cellular Pathologists. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a vibrant and historic town, with a rich cultural heritage and modern amenities.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Diagnosing and studying disease in tissues and organs</li>
<li>Examining samples of tissue, usually a small biopsy, and detecting changes that explain what is causing a patient’s illness</li>
<li>Working closely with other doctors, scientists, and healthcare staff to manage a patient’s care</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Full registration and licence to practise with the GMC and be on the Specialist Register in Histopathology (or be eligible within six months of interview)</li>
<li>UK-trained applicants must hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award by the date of interview</li>
<li>FRCPath (Part 1 and Part 2)</li>
