<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Consultant Histopathologist<br><strong>Grade:</strong> Consultant<br><strong>Location:</strong> Southwest<br><strong>Working Hours:</strong> Full-time, 10 PAs (with flexibility for part-time applicants)<br><strong>Salary:</strong> £105,504 – £139,882 per annum</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Histopathologist to join our dynamic team at a client based in one of the most beautiful regions of the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, providing high-quality diagnostic services.</p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Full registration and licence to practise with the GMC and be on the Specialist Register in Histopathology (or be eligible within six months of interview)</li> <li>UK-trained applicants must hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award by the date of interview</li> <li>FRCPath (Part 1 and Part 2)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Typical Job Plan</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Clinical Duties:</strong> Reporting on a wide range of histopathology specimens, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and providing expert advice to clinical colleagues</li> <li><strong>Teaching and Training:</strong> Involvement in the training and supervision of junior medical staff and participation in departmental teaching sessions</li> <li><strong>Research and Development:</strong> Encouragement to engage in research activities and contribute to the development of the department</li> <li><strong>On-call Commitment:</strong> Participation in the on-call rota as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>About the Department</strong></p> <p>The Histopathology Department is a well-established unit with a team of highly skilled consultants and support staff.
