<p><strong>Job Title</strong>: Educational Psychologist<br><strong>Banding</strong>: Equivalent to Band 8a<br><strong>Location</strong>: Greater Manchester (hybrid working across home, schools, and regional offices)<br><strong>Working Hours</strong>: 37.5 hours per week, term-time only (approx. 41 weeks per year)<br><strong>Salary</strong>: £63,372 FTE (approx. £57,738 pro rata)</p>

<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<p>As an Educational Psychologist, your role will be central to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND. You will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Carry out psychological assessments and needs analyses to inform tailored interventions</li>
<li>Produce high-quality reports for families, schools, and professionals</li>
<li>Collaborate with education staff to co-develop strategies that remove barriers to learning</li>
<li>Deliver training and consultation to internal and external stakeholders</li>
<li>Supervise and support Assistant Psychologists and trainees</li>
<li>Contribute to service development, research, and reflective practice</li>
<li>Work as part of a wider clinical team, engaging in supervision and CPD</li>

<h3>Qualifications and Experience</h3>

<li><strong>Essential</strong>: Doctorate in Educational Psychology and current HCPC registration</li>
<li><strong>Desirable</strong>: Experience working with children and young people with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs</li>
<li>Strong communication, consultation, and report-writing skills</li>
<li>A collaborative, reflective approach to practice</li>
