<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong><br>Join our Intensive Support Team (IST) to provide specialist psychological support for individuals with learning disabilities during periods of crisis. This role focuses on delivering person-centred interventions that promote independence, inclusion, and positive behaviour support.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver intensive, specialist support to clients with increased health needs and their carers.</li>
<li>Provide access to clinical expertise during times of crisis, complementing the work of the Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD).</li>
<li>Apply evidence-based approaches such as Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively within a small multi-disciplinary team across community settings.</li>
<li>Uphold principles of empowerment, least restrictive practice, and skill development for service users.</li>
</ul>
