<p><strong>Client Group:</strong> Adults (18+)<br><strong>Salary:</strong> £64,000 pro rata<br><strong>Hours:</strong> Part-time (22.5 hours per week)</p>
<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong><br>Lead the psychology department, a purpose-built acute inpatient hospital, and deliver high-quality, patient-centred psychological care. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and improve mental health outcomes for adults experiencing acute episodes.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions for service users with complex needs.</li>
<li>Oversee the psychology service, supporting the team in delivering assessments, formulations, and group interventions.</li>
<li>Participate in referral assessments and make autonomous clinical decisions regarding care plans.</li>
<li>Implement and evaluate person-centred treatment plans using structured psychometric and clinical methods.</li>
<li>Maintain professional and legal accountability in line with HCPC standards and organisational policies.</li>
<li>Contribute to a therapeutic environment by promoting meaningful daily activities and recovery-focused care.</li>
