<p>Pulse is recruiting an experienced<strong> Psychologist</strong> for a <strong>part‑time inpatient role</strong> within an <strong>adult acute service</strong>, working across <strong>two wards</strong>.</p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established <strong>multidisciplinary team (MDT)</strong>, offering autonomy, clinical variety, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to service delivery. <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">It is an inpatient role, working within an MDT, supervising pre-qualified psychologists and occasionally working with more complex patients directly.</span></p>
<p>The service is based in <strong>Cheshire</strong>. This role is ideal for psychologists with <strong>previous inpatient experience</strong> looking for flexible working alongside high‑quality clinical practice.</p>
<h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<p>In this role, <strong>you will</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Work as part of a multidisciplinary inpatient team across two adult acute wards</li>
<li>Provide <strong>clinical supervision</strong> to pre‑qualified and junior psychologists</li>
<li>Support psychological formulation and intervention planning within the MDT</li>
<li>Occasionally carry a small caseload of <strong>more complex patients</strong>, where required</li>
<li>Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Essential / Minimum Requirements</strong></h3>

<li>HCPC registration as a <strong>Practitioner Psychologist</strong></li>
<li>Experience working with <strong>adult mental health populations</strong></li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously within an MDT setting</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Desirable</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Previous <strong>inpatient or acute ward experience</strong></li>
<li>Experience supervising trainees or pre‑qualified psychologists</li>
<li>Confidence working with complex mental health presentations</li>
</ul>
