This role involves working across a range of community settings, including <strong data-start="590" data-end="639">clinics, pre-school environments, and schools</strong>, supporting children and young people with diverse <strong data-start="691" data-end="742">Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)</strong>.</p> <p data-start="747" data-end="1144">You will play a key role in assessing, planning, and delivering interventions to enable children to achieve their full communication potential. This post is ideal for a therapist with a strong background in <strong data-start="954" data-end="987">paediatric community practice</strong>, particularly within <strong data-start="1009" data-end="1039">mainstream and early years</strong> settings. A <strong data-start="1052" data-end="1066">car driver</strong> is essential due to travel across multiple sites in the Wolverhampton area.</p> <hr data-start="1146" data-end="1149"> <h3 data-start="1151" data-end="1181"><strong data-start="1155" data-end="1179">Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <p data-start="1182" data-end="1825">In this role, you will:<br data-start="1205" data-end="1208">• Assess, diagnose, and manage children with a variety of speech, language, and communication difficulties.<br data-start="1315" data-end="1318">• Deliver evidence-based therapy programmes in <strong data-start="1365" data-end="1399">clinic, pre-school, and school</strong> settings.<br data-start="1409" data-end="1412">• Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support children’s communication development.<br data-start="1527" data-end="1530">• Provide training, advice, and resources to parents, carers, and education staff.<br data-start="1612" data-end="1615">• Maintain accurate, high-quality clinical records in line with HCPC and service standards.<br data-start="1706" data-end="1709">• Contribute to service development and promote best practice in community paediatric speech and language therapy.</p> <hr data-start="1827" data-end="1830"> <h3 data-start="1832" data-end="1871"><strong data-start="1836" data-end="1869">Qualifications and Experience</strong></h3> <p data-start="1872" data-end="2398">To be considered for this role, you must have:<br data-start="1918" data-end="1921">• A recognised <strong data-start="1936" data-end="1993">degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent)</strong>.<br data-start="1994" data-end="1997">• <strong data-start="1999" data-end="2020">HCPC registration</strong> and eligibility for membership of the <strong data-start="2059" data-end="2118">Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)</strong>.<br data-start="2119" data-end="2122">• Proven experience in <strong data-start="2145" data-end="2187">paediatric speech and language therapy</strong>, specifically within <strong data-start="2209" data-end="2250">com ...
