<h3 data-start="342" data-end="360">Job Overview</h3>
<p data-start="361" data-end="739">We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to deliver Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) provision within mainstream school settings across <strong data-start="557" data-end="573">North London</strong>. This role is well suited to a Band 6 or Band 7 therapist with prior mainstream experience who is confident working independently and able to hit the ground running.</p>
<p data-start="741" data-end="997">You will be supporting children with a range of Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), working closely with school staff, families, and other professionals to ensure effective, child-centred interventions are delivered in line with EHCP outcomes.</p>
<h3 data-start="999" data-end="1025">Key Responsibilities</h3>
<p data-start="1026" data-end="1599">In this role, you will:<br data-start="1049" data-end="1052">• Deliver EHCP-specified Speech and Language Therapy provision to children in mainstream school settings.<br data-start="1157" data-end="1160">• Assess, plan, and implement individualised therapy programmes tailored to each child’s needs.<br data-start="1255" data-end="1258">• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, parents/carers, and wider professionals to support pupils’ communication development.<br data-start="1389" data-end="1392">• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.<br data-start="1505" data-end="1508">• Manage a varied caseload effectively, prioritising workload and meeting agreed deadlines.</p>
<h3 data-start="1601" data-end="1636">Qualifications and Experience</h3>
<p data-start="1637" data-end="2166">To be considered for this role, you must have:<br data-start="1683" data-end="1686">• A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).<br data-start="1755" data-end="1758">• HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).<br data-start="1872" data-end="1875">• Experience working with children in mainstream school settings.<br data-start="1940" data-end="1943">• A strong understanding of EHCP processes and outcomes-focused provision.<br data-start="2017" data-end="2020">• Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.<br data-start="2090" data-end="2093">• The ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly to new environments.</p>
