<p>Our client is seeking a dedicated <strong>Paediatric Occupational Therapist</strong> to provide specialist OT provision to pupils with autism. This role involves delivering high-quality assessment, intervention, and support within an educational setting, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure pupils achieve their full potential.</p>

<h4><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h4>
<p><strong>Clinical Practice and Intervention</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain responsibility for OT interventions, ensuring high standards of care.</li>
<li>Provide direct therapy to pupils as outlined in their EHCPs.</li>
<li>Deliver small group OT sessions and develop individualized and class-based intervention programs.</li>
<li>Embed OT strategies throughout the school environment.</li>
<li>Collaborate with a wider team of therapists and adhere to professional ethical standards.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Assessment and Equipment</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct comprehensive assessments using appropriate tools.</li>
<li>Assess for specialist equipment, make recommendations, and ensure safe setup.</li>
<li>Train parents, carers, and staff in equipment use and monitor safety.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Training and Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Plan and deliver staff training sessions and parent information sessions.</li>
<li>Support the implementation of OT strategies across the school environment.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Professional Standards</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate clinical records, write detailed reports, and contribute to reviews.</li>
<li>Manage workload efficiently and participate in CPD activities.</li>
<li>Stay current with research, guidelines, and legislation relevant to practice.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Multi-Disciplinary Working</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate effectively with education staff, therapists, and other professionals.</li>
<li>Contribute to multi-disciplinary assessments and provide specialist advice.</li>
</ul>
