<p></p> <div> <h3><strong>END Paediatric Occupational Therapist – EHCP School-Based Therapy</strong></h3> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Essex (Mid Essex: Chelmsford, Braintree, Maldon surrounding areas; North Essex: Colchester Clacton)<br><strong>Contract:</strong> Temporary or Permanent<br><strong>Hours:</strong> 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) – Part-time considered</p> <p>Our client is seeking an experienced <strong>Paediatric Occupational Therapist</strong> to join their SEND team in Essex. This role involves delivering specialist OT interventions for children with additional needs, supporting schools, families, and contributing to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).</p> <hr> <h4><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Undertake <strong>Section F of EHCPs</strong>, ensuring accurate and comprehensive input.</li> <li>Visit schools across Essex to provide therapy and support.</li> <li>Liaise with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.</li> <li>Deliver therapy for <strong>gross motor, fine motor, and sensory needs</strong>.</li> <li>Write detailed reports and maintain accurate clinical documentation.</li> </ul> <hr> <h4><strong>Requirements:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.</li> <li>Sensory integration training and experience working with children.</li> <li>Ability to deliver a range of therapies in school settings.</li> <li>Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car.</li> </ul> <hr> <h4><strong>Why Join Our Client?</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Opportunity to make a real impact on children’s development and education.</li> <li>Flexible working arrangements (full-time or part-time considered).</li> <li>Supportive multidisciplinary team environment.</li> <li>Competitive rates and comprehensive induction.</li> </ul> </div>
