Children may present with a range of diagnoses, including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Speech and Language delays/disorders, global developmental delay, or neurological conditions.</p> <p>The service is built around a child-centred approach, using a structured three-step process:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Identify:</strong> Comprehensive assessments to determine strengths and challenges.</li> <li><strong>Educate:</strong> Sharing knowledge with families and schools to ensure needs are understood and supported.</li> <li><strong>Accelerate:</strong> Delivering tailored therapy packages with individualised goals and activity programmes to help children reach their full potential.</li> </ul> <hr> <h4><strong>About the Role</strong></h4> <p>As an <strong>Occupational Therapist</strong>, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Work as an autonomous practitioner managing a clinical caseload.</li> <li>Undertake assessments using both standardised and informal tools.</li> <li>Interpret assessment data and produce detailed clinical reports.</li> <li>Develop child- and family-centred treatment plans using goal attainment scaling.</li> <li>Deliver 1:1 and small group therapy sessions in the clinic.</li> <li>Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and manage risk.</li> </ul> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives in a supportive and collaborative environment.</p> <hr> <h4><strong>What’s on Offer</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Competitive salary: £38,500 – £47,000 (FTE).</li> <li>Structured induction and ongoing professional development.</li> <li>Opportunity to work in a modern, child-focused clinic environment.</li> <li>Supportive multidisciplinary team culture.</li> </ul> <hr> <h4><strong>About You</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.</li> <li>Experience in paediatric occupational therapy and clinical assessments.</li> <li>Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.</li> <li>Ability to plan and deliver tailored interventions for children with complex needs.</li> <li>Excellent communication and organisational skills.</li> </ul> </div>
