This setting supports pupils aged <strong data-start="795" data-end="812">7 to 16 years</strong> with <strong data-start="818" data-end="853">Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)</strong> and associated conditions who have struggled to access education in both mainstream and other specialist settings.</p> <p data-start="972" data-end="1170">The school offers a fully integrated <strong data-start="1009" data-end="1033">therapeutic approach</strong> to education, providing a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes emotional well-being, communication, and academic growth.</p> <p data-start="1172" data-end="1385">This role is ideally suited to a therapist with <strong data-start="1220" data-end="1249">experience in SEN schools</strong>, particularly working with children with <strong data-start="1291" data-end="1298">ASC</strong>, who is looking to make a meaningful difference in a part-time role (3 days per week).</p> <hr data-start="1387" data-end="1390"> <h3 data-start="1392" data-end="1420"><strong data-start="1396" data-end="1420">Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <p data-start="1422" data-end="1447">In this role, you will:</p> <ul data-start="1448" data-end="2106"> <li data-start="1448" data-end="1621"> <p data-start="1450" data-end="1621">Assess, diagnose, and manage a caseload of pupils with <strong data-start="1505" data-end="1556">Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)</strong>, often alongside <strong data-start="1574" data-end="1584">Autism</strong> and other co-occurring conditions.</p> </li> <li data-start="1622" data-end="1738"> <p data-start="1624" data-end="1738">Develop and deliver <strong data-start="1644" data-end="1676">individualised therapy plans</strong>, in collaboration with educational and clinical colleagues.</p> </li> <li data-start="1739" data-end="1882"> <p data-start="1741" data-end="1882">Provide both <strong data-start="1754" data-end="1785">direct and indirect therapy</strong>, including staff training and support to embed communication strategies across the school day.</p> </li> <li data-start="1883" data-end="1996"> <p data-start="1885" data-end="1996">Work closely with parents/carers and contribute to <strong data-start="1936" data-end="1952">EHCP reviews</strong> and <strong data-start="1957" data-end="1993">multi-disciplinary team meetings</strong>.</p> </li> <li data-start="1997" data-end="2106"> <p data-start="1999" data-end="2106">Maintain clear and accurate <strong data-start="2027" data-end="2053">clinical documentation</strong>, following best practice and safeguarding protocols.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="2108" data-end="2111"> <h3 data-start="2113" data-end="2150"><strong data-start="2117" data-e ...
