This high-quality educational setting supports a diverse group of pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours.</p> <p data-start="686" data-end="1068">The school provides a nurturing environment tailored to children with a wide range of SEN needs, offering structured support, individualised learning, and a strong multidisciplinary approach. As a Band 6 or 7 therapist, you will play a central role in delivering assessment, intervention, and ongoing support to enhance pupils’ communication skills and overall learning experiences.</p> <p data-start="1070" data-end="1244">This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist passionate about paediatric SEN, collaboration, and creating meaningful impact within a caring specialist school environment.</p> <hr data-start="1246" data-end="1249"> <h2 data-start="1251" data-end="1280"><strong data-start="1254" data-end="1278">Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <p data-start="1281" data-end="2018">In this role, you will:<br data-start="1304" data-end="1307">• Assess, diagnose, and deliver therapeutic interventions for pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and associated complex needs.<br data-start="1458" data-end="1461">• Develop child-centred therapy plans and work collaboratively with teaching staff, support teams, and other clinicians.<br data-start="1581" data-end="1584">• Provide advice, strategies, and hands-on support to staff to promote communication-friendly environments.<br data-start="1691" data-end="1694">• Contribute to multidisciplinary reviews, Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs), and ongoing progress monitoring.<br data-start="1808" data-end="1811">• Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records in accordance with HCPC and RCSLT standards.<br data-start="1902" data-end="1905">• Support whole-school communication initiatives and contribute to service development within the therapy team.</p> <hr data-start="2020" data-end="2023"> <h2 data-start="2025" data-end="2063"><strong data-start="2028" data-end="2061">Qualifications and Experience</strong></h2> <p data-start="2064" data-end="2534">To be considered for this role, you must have:<br data-start="2110" data-end="2113">• A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).<br data-start="2182" data-end="2185">• HCPC registration and eligibility for RCSLT membership.<br data-start="2242" data-end="2245">• Experience working with children with complex needs, communication difficulties, and/or challenging behaviours.<br data-start="2358" data-end="2361">• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.<br data-start="2427" data-end="2430">• A reflective, child-centred approach, with enthusiasm for working in specialist school environments.</p> <hr data-start="2536" data-end="2539"> <h2 data-start="2541" data-end="2567"><strong data-start="2544" data-end="2565">Why Choose Pulse?</strong></h2> <p data-start ...
