Private Consultant Psychiatrist - Learning Disabilities

<p></p> <p data-start="154" data-end="344">Consultant Psychiatrist</p> <p data-start="154" data-end="344">We are seeking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a private hospital in, Hampshire. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) part time will be considered.</p> <p data-start="346" data-end="612">Set in a semi-rural location, this private hospital group supports the NHS by providing low secure services and level 2 rehabilitation services for both male and female patients. This includes specialist learning disability and autism spectrum support.</p> <h4 data-start="614" data-end="640"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">What you’ll be doing</span></h4> <p data-start="641" data-end="874">You will be part of a compassionate team committed to patients’ wellbeing. The service takes a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.</p> <p data-start="876" data-end="974">As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in recovery and treatment, including:</p> <ul data-start="975" data-end="1471"> <li data-start="975" data-end="1141"> <p data-start="977" data-end="1141">Taking clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, strategic reviews and the development of a therapeutic milieu.</p> </li> <li data-start="1142" data-end="1235"> <p data-start="1144" data-end="1235">Acting as Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983).</p> </li> <li data-start="1236" data-end="1338"> <p data-start="1238" data-end="1338">Supervising referral and admission processes, including contributing to pre-admission assessments.</p> </li> <li data-start="1339" data-end="1471"> <p data-start="1341" data-end="1471">Providing a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team in relation to assessment, formulation and treatment planning.</p> </li> </ul> <h4 data-start="1473" data-end="1496"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">What you’ll bring</span></h4> <p data-start="1497" data-end="1772">This post requires a strong team player who is enthusiastic about working within a multidisciplinary framework.
