<h3><strong>Location:</strong> Birmingham</h3>
<h3><strong>Working Hours:</strong> Full or Part-time, Monday to Friday</h3>
<h3><strong>Salary:</strong> £55,880 – £63,487 per annum</h3>
<p>Join a leading provider of mental health recovery services in Birmingham, as a Senior Psychologist. This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop the psychology service at a brand-new 23-bed male inpatient unit. You’ll also support service users across our established hospitals delivering high-quality, relationship-centred care.</p>

<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<p>As a Senior Psychologist, your role will be dynamic and impactful. You will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver specialist psychological assessments and interventions</li>
<li>Formulate and implement treatment plans for service users with complex mental health needs</li>
<li>Provide expert consultation and guidance to the multidisciplinary team</li>
<li>Lead reflective practice sessions and contribute to service development</li>
<li>Undertake risk assessments and support psychological aspects of risk management</li>
<li>Champion the SAFE model (Shared Assessment, Formulation and Education) across services</li>

<h3><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></h3>
<p>We welcome applications from candidates who meet most of the following criteria:</p>
<ul>
<li>HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist</li>
<li>Experience working with individuals with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses</li>
<li>Strong formulation and therapeutic skills</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously and within MDT frameworks</li>
<li>Experience in inpatient or complex care settings is desirable</li>
</ul>
