<p><strong>Role:</strong> Speech Language Therapist<br><strong>Banding:</strong> Band 6-7<br><strong>Location:</strong> Brighton<br><strong>Job Type:</strong> Temp (8 weeks)<br><strong>Salary:</strong> £25.00 - £37.00 per hour</p> <p>We are urgently seeking a Speech Language Therapist for an 8-week temporary role in Brighton. This position requires experience with Dysphagia and adult acute care. Band 6 candidates should be dysphagia competent, while Band 7 candidates should be competent in both dysphagia and tracheostomy care. Head and neck experience is also desirable.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage your own clinical caseload.</li> <li>Provide strategic clinical and operational leadership to our dynamic therapy team.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver exceptional, cost-effective services.</li> <li>Be a key player in pupil referrals and therapy service optimization.</li> <li>Oversee the financial and resource management within the therapies department.</li> <li>Champion continuous professional development, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification.</li> <li>HCPC registration.</li> <li>Experience working with children or adults with communication needs.</li> <li>Knowledge of clinical governance principles and audit processes.</li> <li>Valid driver's license.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Work with Pulse?</strong> From the moment you register with us, our focus is entirely on you.
