If you’re excited about solving complex challenges in bold, innovative ways, we’d love to connect with you.</p></div><h3><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></h3> <p>We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel, Employment to support our Global Head of Employment Law in providing strategic, practical employment law advice across a global organization. This role will partner closely with the People team and cross‑functional stakeholders, with a primary focus on the United States and EMEA, while contributing to scalable global frameworks.</p> <h3><strong>What will you do?</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Lead and take initiative on internal investigations, including employee complaints, workplace conduct matters, and policy violations, and advise on and support any required remediation efforts.</li> <li>Act as a trusted counselor on the full employee lifecycle, including complex hiring, performance management, executive compensation, and sensitive terminations.</li> <li>Partner closely with the People team and other internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate employment‑related risks.</li> <li>Develop, review, and help implement employment policies, practices, and best‑in‑class frameworks that scale globally while accounting for local requirements.</li> <li>Support the Lead Employment Counsel on complex or high‑risk matters, including escalations, sensitive employee issues, and strategic initiatives.</li> <li>Collaborate with outside counsel as needed and help manage costs and outcomes effectively.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What skills and experience should you bring? </strong></h3> <ul> <li>You have a JD with 6+ years of employment law experience</li> <li>You're familiar with and have advised on key employment law frameworks such as non-competes, separations, disability claims, and recruiting. </li> <li>You have a well-grounded knowledge of US employment law.</li> <li>You demonstrate sound and practical business judgment.</li> <li>You have the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced and demanding work environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>You have a bias and drive for action, learning and problem solving.</li> <li>You are highly responsive with a service-focused approach.</li> <li>You are both a collaborative teammate and able to work independently.</li> <li>You have 4+ years of in-house experience at a technology company.</li> <li>Experience working closely with People Team in EMEA and/or other jurisdictions</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why us? </strong></h3> <p>You will be joining a cutting-edge company where you will tackle extraordinary challenges and work with the very best in the industry.</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(k), Commuter, Health and Dependent FSA</li> <li>Unlimited PTO</li> <li>Industry-leading gender-neutral parental leave</li> <li>Paid Company Holidays</li> <li>Paid Sick Time</li> <li>Employee stock purchase program</li> <li>Disability and life insurance</li> <li>Employee assistance program</li> <li>Gym membership reimbursement</li> <li>Cell phone reimbursement</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">This U.S. role has a base pay range that will vary based on the location of the candidate.
