As our new colleague, you should be able to explore new technologies, design and develop innovative ideas from scratch, and drive new capabilities (incl. new products we're building) and infrastructure at scale for our products.</p> <h3 class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">What will you do?</strong></h3> <p class="p-rich_text_section">Your role will include end-to-end responsibility for new agent capabilities, starting with researching the landscape of new Linux-/Cloud-related security technologies, designing event tracing strategies and algorithms, and delivering them at scale. You could work across low-level Kernel hooks, complicated user-space engines cybersecurity/anti-malware capabilities, product infrastructures, Cloud and Kubernetes security-related features, as well as pure system engineering challenges.</p> <p class="p-rich_text_section">Your deliveries will enhance the security of different <a class="c-link" href="https://www.sentinelone.com/surfaces/cloud/" target="_blank" data-stringify-link="https://www.sentinelone.com/surfaces/cloud/" data-sk="tooltip_parent">Linux and Cloud Workloads platforms protected by our product</a>, which serves hundreds of thousands of users (from thousands of enterprise and public sector clients across the globe, including some of the largest companies globally).</p> <h3 class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">Your duties:</strong></h3> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Software Development (70-80% of time) - we use C++23, occasionally also Rust and/or Go</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Write tests to cover new code</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Conduct low-level research and design new features</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Peer code reviews; Participate in the team’s design reviews</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Learn new technologies in the Linux and Cloud workloads security domains (e.g. eBPF)</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Architect end-to-end security solutions for complex features with loose problem definition</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Support customers with issues and requests within the team’s domain</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Attend daily and weekly scrum meetings</li> </ul> <h3 class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">What skills knowledge should you bring?</strong></h3> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Multiple years of experience as a software engineer, developing complex systems in modern C++</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Proficient in Linux OS architecture and internals</li> <li data-st ...
