Lead APP - Oscar Primary Care

We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p>You'll deliver care as part of a multidisciplinary team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Medical Assistants, delivering world-class care using a unique and innovative care model. You will manage a panel of patients primarily virtually while coordinating in-person care when required.</p> <p>Additionally, you will supervise a team of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care to patients to their patient panels.</p> <p>You will report into the Medical Director, Virtual Primary Care.</p> <p><strong>Hours:</strong> M-F 8a - 7p ET; no weekends</p> <p><strong>Work Location: </strong>This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Note, this list of states is subject to change.</p> <p><strong>Pay Transparency: </strong>The base pay for this role is: $118,400 - $155,400 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) while working with a multidisciplinary team</li> <li>Provide guidance to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) who are delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional clinical growth</li> <li>Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team (APPs, RNs, MAs)</li> <li>Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with Operations and Product team members as a clinical leader.</li> <li>Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients</li> <li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must have GA, TX, or FL license in good standing</li> <li><span data-sheets-root="1">Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor</span></li> <li>Additional state licenses or willing to be licensed in additional Oscar OPC states, also in good standing</li> <li>DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program</li> <li>Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)</li> <li>5+ years of primary/urgent care experience</li> <li>1+ year Experience delivering care in a community-based / in person setting</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Spanish language fluency</li> <li>Prior telehealth experience</li> <li>1+ years experience in supervising teams, including other clinical staff NP and PA supervision</li> <li>Experience being metric driven in a practice setting as it relates to population health management and/or, quality benchmarks, and productivity</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
