<p>Hi, we're Oscar Medical Group. We're hiring a Lead APP to join our Virtual Health Assessment.</p> <p>At Oscar Medical Group, we are refactoring healthcare. To help us achieve that goal we are looking for innovative leaders who think big and push boundaries to refactor healthcare and the healthcare delivery system.</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p>You will be a part of a program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members to perform preventative care screenings via a risk assessment visit.</p> <p>Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising a team of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care to patients.</p> <p>You will report into the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.</p> <p><strong>Work Location: </strong>This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in: Alabama; Arizona; Arkansas; Colorado; Connecticut; District of Columbia; Florida; Georgia; Idaho; Illinois; Indiana; Iowa; Kansas; Kentucky; Maine; Maryland; Massachusetts; Michigan; Minnesota; Missouri; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New Mexico; North Carolina; Ohio; Oregon; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; South Carolina; Tennessee; Texas; Utah; Vermont; or Virginia. While your daily work will be completed from your home office, occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events. #LI-Remote</p> <p><strong>Pay Transparency:</strong></p> <p>The base pay for this role is: $118,400 - $155,400 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, and annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year, and annual performance bonuses.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform preventative care screenings, complete medication reconciliation, diagnose medical conditions and provide health coaching, referrals and treatment when clinically appropriate, virtually via phone video.</li> <li>Outreach members who are more chronically ill based on historical and suspected health information.</li> <li>Engage members who have a lower probability of seeing their PCP.</li> <li>Identify areas in the member's medical journey that can be improved by increasing their access to care with a licensed provider.</li> <li>Provide supervision to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) who are delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional clinical growth</li> <li>Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed</li> <li>Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with Operations and Product team members as a clinical leader.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> <li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>NP or PA from accredited program</li> <li>Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)</li> <li>Must have any 5 of the following state licenses. They are: AZ, TX, OK, IL, IA, KS, MI, MO, OH, NE, FL, GA, NC, TN, VA, NJ, PA, NY.</li> <li>Willing to work with our licensing vendor to apply for additional state licenses, if necessary</li> <li>5+ years of outpatient primary care experience</li> <li>1+ year of telehealth experience</li> <li>1+ years experience in supervising teams, including other clinical staff</li> <li>Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including HCC coding principles</li> <li>Familiarity with HEDIS measures, including their role in quality improvement and performance measurement</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Spanish language fluency</li> <li>Experience being metric driven in a practice setting as it relates to population health management and/or, quality benchmarks, and productivity</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
