You will collaborate with stakeholders in the organization and gains an understanding of Oscar's platform capabilities to ensure that it loads information accurately and efficiently.</p> <p>You will report into the Senior Operations Manager, Benefit Configuration.</p> <p><strong>Work Location: </strong>This position is based in our Tempe, Arizona office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid</p> <p><strong>Pay Transparency: </strong>The base pay for this role is: $55,890 - $73,355 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform detailed oriented work with a high level of accuracy and adherence to all QA/QC protocols</li> <li>Experience with designs, builds, and configuration workflows and utilize this knowledge to develop insights into opportunities for workflow improvements.</li> <li>Understand aggregated configuration data to identify updates required and to measure the impact of any changes on internal operations and existing configuration</li> <li>Load configuration data into the core system accurately and in a timely manner</li> <li>Use internal tools and technical processes, in particular database querying and benefit or reimbursement configuration concepts.</li> <li>Build SQL queries and translate technical analyses into easily digestible communications to a nontechnical audience</li> <li>Identify and report on any data/data infrastructure gaps, deficiencies, or irregularities</li> <li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>1+ years of working knowledge of health plan benefit concepts (e.g., deductibles and other forms of cost sharing, etc.).</li> <li>1+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or comparable programs within the Google Docs Editors suite (e.g., Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides).</li> <li>1+ years of experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets using excel or a similar database language to solve business problems</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree or 4 years commensurate experience</li> <li>Working knowledge of medical coding concepts (e.g., CPT, HCPCs and ICD-10 coding)</li> <li>Proficiency in SQL</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
