Physician Assistant - Virtual Urgent Care (Part-time)

To help us achieve that goal we are looking for innovative leaders who think big and push boundaries to refactor healthcare and the healthcare delivery system.</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p>We are looking for virtual care providers who can provide telemedicine services and are always looking to explore new ways we can provide virtual care. You will deliver patient care on Oscar's platform(s) both via messaging and phone. As an Oscar Medical Group provider, you'll have the opportunity to re-imagine how we diagnose, treat and follow up with members virtually. You will work remotely, and work hand in hand with our team to provide exceptional patient care.</p> <p>This is a <strong>Part-Time</strong> role with Oscar Medical Group.</p> <p>You will report into the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care</p> <p><strong>Shift:</strong></p> <p>7a - 5p ET<strong> or </strong>1p -11p ET</p> <p>3 weekend requirement per month (Sat Sun)</p> <p>20 hrs per week total</p> <p><strong>Work Location:</strong></p> <p>Oscar Medical Group is a blended work culture where everyone, regardless of work type or location, feels connected to their teammates, our culture and our mission.</p> <p>This is a remote / work-from-home role. You are also eligible for employee benefits and annual vacation days.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide medical care virtually (both by phone and message)</li> <li>Provide patient care in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies</li> <li>Focus on efficiency and quality of care delivery</li> <li>Ensure patient access to VUC services</li> <li>Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines (e.g. primary care and health assessments)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>PA from accredited program</li> <li>Board Certification </li> <li><span data-sheets-root="1">Licensed in at least 3 out of the 5 following states: FL, TX, OH, NJ, GA</span></li> <li><span data-sheets-root="1">Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor</span></li> <li>3+ years experience in urgent care, ER or outpatient family medicine practice</li> <li>2+ years of Telemedicine experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Licensed in other OMG states: AZ, CO, CT, IA, IL, KS, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, VA</li> <li>Bilingual (Spanish - read, write, and speak)</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
