<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p>
<p>The Regulatory Operations, Associate is responsible for project managing and supporting discrete tasks to ensure Oscar is compliant with federal and state product filing requirements. This position works closely with internal Oscar teams and interfaces with our external regulators.</p>
<p>You will report into the Senior Manager, Regulatory Operations.</p>
<p><strong>Work Location: </strong>This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. You will be fully remote; however, our approach to work may adapt over time. Future models could potentially involve a hybrid presence at the hub office associated with your metro area.</p>
<p><strong>Pay Transparency: </strong>The base pay for this role in the states of New Jersey and New York is: $101,844 - $133,670 per year. The base pay for this role for all other locations is: $91,659 - $120,303 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the execution of required annual QHP filings (form, binder, rate) with state regulators, state exchanges, and CMS, including the development of action plans that ensure regulatory approval</li>
<li>Develop and maintain successful relationships with regulatory agencies, including state insurance regulators (e.g., Alabama Department of Insurance, Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, Michigan’s Department of Insurance and Financial Services, North Carolina Department of Insurance, Ohio Department of Insurance, Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance), state-based exchanges (e.g., Georgia Access, New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance, New York State of Health, Pennsylvania Insurance Department and Virginia Bureau of Insurance), and CMS</li>
<li>Serve as an advisor to your teammates and cross-functional teams to drive the accurate completion of filing deliverables as a subject matter expert</li>
<li>Develop sustainable processes which simplify outputs while ensuring high quality deliverables, including maintenance of a repository of guidance and resources</li>
<li>Manage other projects, as needed, in support of filings while achieving deadlines and managing competing priorities</li>
<li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience</li>
<li>1+ years of SERFF and HIOS experience</li>
<li>Demonstrated project management skills</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Bonus points:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with ACA marketplace plans, rules and regulations</li>
