We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p>The Workday Architect is responsible for leading the design and management of Workday solutions across Compensation Time/Leave, and Payroll. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Workday functionalities and the ability to manage consultants while executing complex projects and enhancements.</p> <p>You will report into the Senior Director, People Technology Operations. </p> <p><strong>Work Location: </strong></p> <p>This position is based in our Tempe, AZ office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid</p> <p><strong>Pay Transparency: </strong></p> <p>The base pay for this role is: $129,600 - $170,100 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Workday Solution Design Stakeholder Engagement: <ul> <li>Lead the design and architecture of scalable Workday solutions across Compensation, Time/Leave and Payroll.</li> <li>Serve as primary Workday SME, translating business requirements into effective configurations and enhancements. </li> <li>Ensure Workday solutions comply with data governance, audit, legal, organizational policies, and apply industry standards to elevate.</li> <li>Identify and mitigate risks related to Workday changes and implementations.</li> <li>Define and manage stakeholder engagement model with Payroll, including roles and responsibilities. </li> <li>Lead and oversee consultants, providing direction and quality assurance.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Project Delivery Process Improvement <ul> <li>Own planning and delivery of Workday projects and enhancements, ensuring standard project management practices are utilized to ensure successful on-time and on-budget execution </li> <li>Coordinate cross-functional teams to support successful integration and adoption</li> <li>Drive process improvements and automation to improve efficiency and user experience</li> <li>Stay current on Workday release and best practices to maximize platform value</li> <li>Provide regular project status updates and stakeholder communication. </li> <li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within Workday modules to enhance efficiency and user experience.<strong> </strong></li> <li>Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review project progress, gather feedback, and address any concerns.</li> <li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. </li> <li>Other duties as assigned. </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>6+ years of combined configuration experience across Compensation, Time, and Payroll. </li> <li>Experience managing and delivering complex Workday projects and enhancements.</li> <li>Experience managing and developing a direct report(s)</li> <li>Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across levels of the organization.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Workday certification(s) in relevant modules is highly desirable.</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an authentic Oscar Health job opportunity.
