ABOUT US

Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead end-to-end content publishing workflows, managing priorities and serving as the primary technical liaison between marketing, design, product, and development resources.
- Manage and optimize our content management system (CMS), ensuring it meets marketing needs while maintaining strong technical standards and scalable workflows.
- Oversee quality assurance for all published content, including SEO optimization, accessibility compliance, brand consistency, and accuracy across editorial surfaces (blog, news, resources).
- Drive continuous improvement in content operations through process optimization, technology enhancements, and clear documentation for web standards, templates, and best practices.
- Translate product and marketing briefs into clear production plans, owning new page development through launch while maintaining localization workflows and timely updates across existing and new regions as we grow.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of experience in web content management or digital production
- Deep expertise with enterprise-grade content management systems (experience in Sanity is a plus!)
- Strong technical understanding of web technologies, digital content best practices, creativity, a collaborative spirit, and an eye for detail
- Experience with international content deployment and localization workflows
- Excellent project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
SAMPLE PROJECTS
- Understanding of SEO, web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+), and digital brand governance
- Leading complex content workflows for international launches, ensuring localization accuracy and maintaining brand consistency across regions and languages.
- QB the launch of a new product page by bringing together marketing, creative, and engineering teams.
- Help publish a backlog of ~12 pieces of content on the "resources"page
- Managing the creation and accuracy of blog and news posts.
- Overseeing resource lifecycle management.
- Handling content workflows for testing and optimization efforts.
- Supporting adherence to SEO, accessibility, and brand standards across all content launches.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience supporting AI, developer, or highly technical products, translating complex concepts into clear, scalable web content.
- Familiarity with modern web stacks and headless CMS architectures, and comfort partnering closely with engineering on production workflows.
- Experience scaling content operations in a fast-growing, global company, including building processes from scratch and evolving them as the org matures.
