This role is a full-time, 2-month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs. TEAM You will be an integral part of a newly established internal studio, a dynamic and focused team dedicated to elevating some of the most promising game concepts emerging from our innovative prototyping teams. This studio is specifically chartered to take high-potential prototypes and evolve them into successful, market-ready titles. ROLE - Support the Art director in the ideation and execution of the game’s vision. - Work closely with concept artists and game designers to create top-tier effects and motion for core gameplay and UI. - Set up and build 2D VFX assets in Unity ensuring optimal performance on mobile devices. - Stay up-to-date with the latest VFX art techniques, production tools and workflows. - Propose creative ideas to boost player engagement and improve the user experience. PROFILE - Proven experience as a 2D VFX Artist on shipped titles. - Deep knowledge of Unity’s VFX tools and techniques. - Excellent understanding of VFX and motion graphics fundamentals. - Versatility to work within a range of stylised 2D art styles. - Interest in mastering generative workflows to expand your work’s creative potential. - Ability to creatively deconstruct and learn from success cases. - Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset - Autonomous and proactive work style - Bonus: knowledge of animation principles and techniques . - Bonus: keen eye for game feel.
