<p>We are looking for an energetic, creative, and reliable <strong>Maintenance Manager on Duty</strong> to join the Equinox team! This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization. </p><p>The main purpose of this position is to ensure that club and exercise equipment are kept clean and well maintained. The Maintenance Manager on Duty plays a major role in leading the maintenance team and supporting the Maintenance Manager and management team. </p><p><strong>Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: </strong></p><ul><li>Extensively train all new and existing staff to the Equinox expectation.</li><li>Notify maintenance manager of any and all operational issues. </li><li>Assist maintenance manager in all club related special projects (floor cleaning, high dusting, advanced equipment repair, etc.)</li><li>Inspect and maintain all cleaning equipment used by club employee’s (mop pads, buckets, pails, floor scrubbing machines, ladders, dolly’s, hand trucks, rags, etc.</li><li>Inspect and repair all club equipment on a daily basis (cardio/strength equipment, cardio theater system, climate control, club’s overhead and studio music systems.)</li><li>Full knowledge of all cleaning supplies and recommended chemicals.</li><li>Responsible for inventory, restocking, and replacement of all maintenance supplies (lighting, locker room supplies, laundry supplies, maintenance chemicals, towels, etc.)</li><li>Perform all other projects and responsibilities </li></ul>
<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual should meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications: </p><ul><li>Awareness of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.</li><li>Experience with cleaning products.</li><li>Ability to organize work.</li><li>Ability to service athletic equipment (when applicable).</li><li>Ability to work with hand tools and cleaning equipment.</li><li>Ability to work as a team</li><li>Excellent communication skills with Maintenance Manager.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills.</li></ul>
