The team is heavily involved in utilizing computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to give our war fighters and allies an advantage.</p> <h3 id="FieldEngineer,MissionSystems,Iris-ABOUTTHEJOB">ABOUT THE JOB</h3> <p>Anduril Imaging’s System Engineering team is seeking a Field Engineer to join the team. The Field Engineer will be responsible for integrating and testing EO/IR cameras at customer facilities.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include integrating sensors onto aircraft, performing health and status checkouts, managing safety standards and best practices around flight lines, and debugging issues as-needed. When not traveling, you will be responsible for testing and debugging sensors that are in the build and characterization phase of production. You should have a track record of successfully working on fast-paced, highly technical, interdisciplinary teams. You should be prepared for frequent customer-facing interactions.</p> <h4><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO:</strong></h4> <ul> <li data-uuid="eb57fa62-52c0-40e7-86bc-b9edb7a27846">Plan, lead, and manage the integration and testing of high-performance imaging systems from first build through field deployment.</li> <li data-uuid="0424b00c-1de2-4ca7-8ac9-fcea61221381">Travel to test sites and work with both internal and external stakeholders</li> <li data-uuid="12c7e868-3212-4fde-aec9-a1b9930fa15f">Perform hands-on integration of the electrical, firmware, mechanical, software components of the system and provide feedback to the engineering team.</li> <li data-uuid="34d5eda2-f63d-40e4-bb86-75522f83122b">Identify and troubleshoot system hardware software issues.</li> <li data-uuid="c343a893-9095-4d62-9693-db4eb4faa7ec">Perform experiments and analyze data to identify root causes and suggest courses of actions to the rest of the engineering team.</li> <li data-uuid="b586e01f-7ea2-4a53-930d-0098efa96a9f">Manage prototyping lab facility and activities including test hardware, test processes and procedure, environmental safety, and lab resources.</li> <li data-uuid="71fbab3b-f49a-46f5-8f3a-a45395977e07">Support both laboratory-based and field-based experiments and demonstrations</li> <li data-uuid="642628bf-32de-49e2-8383-b1f66acee994">Engage technically with the hardware, software, and mission teams to define, integrate, and deliver high performance systems to our customers</li> </ul> <h4><br><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h4> <ul> <li data-uuid="df3fc775-7562-4f78-8059-2abb181bdbe8">5+ years of related experience.</li> <li data-uuid="2ee3c64b-75ac-4496-9f91-64e1050f0d2d">Experience in system design and development from initial concept through test and delivery to customer</li> <li data-uuid="b61f53e2-307e-4e17-9964-520a55154dda">Strong laboratory skills (e.g. design of experiments)</li> <li data-uuid="3834e8bd-b1e0-4b6c-9a22-64880c25387b">A degree in a relevant technical discipline.</li> <li data-uuid="d64d3287-41e2-4611-96d3-a14c2 ...
