If you believe in community, come join ours. </span></p></div><p><strong>About this role</strong></p> <p>Faire is looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our General Ledger (GL) Accounting team and help strengthen and advance our world-class controllership function as we scale. This is a high-impact role focused on strengthening our month-end close, enhancing internal controls, and driving operational excellence across a fast-growing and increasingly complex global business. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to contribute to a high-performing, collaborative Accounting and Finance organization.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do </strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Take end-to-end ownership of monthly close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis across core areas such as key expense accruals, TE and internally developed software.</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Strengthen and maintain accounting processes and internal controls with a focus on scalability and documentation</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Partner with cross-functional teams and shared services to align on process execution and operational efficiency </li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Prepare high-quality, audit-ready documentation and support both internal and external audit requests</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and improve use of systems</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Help develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures as the company grows</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Support ad hoc projects and collaborate with the broader Accounting and Finance teams</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA a plus)</li> <li>4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally a mix of public and private/company-side</li> <li>Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and documentation best practices</li> <li>Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)</li> <li>Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally</li> <li>Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment</li> <li>Familiarity with accounting systems like Netsuite, close tools (e.g. FloQast) and spend management systems (e.g., Ramp, Zip, Concur)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice To Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working with shared services or offshore teams</li> <li>Exposure to multinational operations or intercompany accounting</li> <li>Experience in a high-growth or tech-forward environment</li> <li>Interest in or experience applying AI or automation tools to improve accounting workflows</li> </ul> ...
