ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact, cross-functional programs that directly support company OKRs and strategic priorities.
This is a senior-level individual contributor role responsible for translating business vision into structured, executable technical programs. The TPM will partner closely with Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to ensure all initiatives are aligned to measurable outcomes.
This role is foundational: you will help build and scale the TPM function at OpenLoop by standardizing Jira practices and establishing reporting cadences. Success in this role will drive operational rigor, predictability, and scalable execution across the organization.
You will have C-level visibility and meaningful ownership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own and drive execution of complex, cross-functional technical initiatives tied directly to company OKRs.
- Translate business requirements into clearly defined technical programs.
- Ensure every request from business stakeholders aligns with company objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Make decisions on prioritization and tradeoffs in partnership with Engineering and business leaders.
- Translate business needs into actionable requirements for engineering teams.
- Handle negotiation tradeoffs between scope, timelines, and impact.
- Proactively identify risks and remove blockers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or equivalent strategic technical role.
- Strong technical fluency (not required to be an engineer) with the ability to understand systems architecture, APIs, integrations, and technical dependencies.
- Demonstrated experience translating complex systems into business-friendly language.
- Proven experience driving programs tied to OKRs and measurable business outcomes.
- Strong prioritization and decision-making skills with the ability to operate autonomously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience aligning and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Track record of delivering complex initiatives on time.
- Hands-on experience using Jira and other project management tools (e.g., Monday , Linear, Miro or similar) to manage cross-functional delivery at scale.
- Experience structuring backlogs, defining epics and milestones, and creating executive-ready reporting dashboards.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in healthcare, health tech, virtual care, care delivery platforms, or healthcare operations.
- Experience working in fast-growing, or globally distributed teams.
