Job Description
The Role
The Solutions Engineer will be a part of the Sales & Solutions Engineering team which sits within the Customer Experience team. The team’s engagement spans the life cycle of the client from a prospect to a customer. This role will largely focus on the post sales elements of the Customer journey which include partnering with the Customer Success Manager to help Customers realize value as quickly as possible from their investment in CodeSignal and includes - implementations, training and workshops, integration, and technical assessment design, demos and consultation. There might be some exposure to the pre-sales aspects of the Prospect journey as well and includes technical discovery, demos, getting the technical win.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a Solutions Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technical expertise and customer advocacy. In this role, you'll work closely with our Customer Success Managers, Content Engineer and Talent Science teams, serving as the main technical point of contact throughout the lifecycle of our customers. Part solution architect, part technical consultant, and part trusted advisor, you'll translate complex technical capabilities into compelling value propositions that resonate with engineering and talent acquisition leaders and help with the execution of those capabilities and work in tandem with the Customer Success Managers to help our Customers realize value from their investment in CodeSignal.
Your ability to understand customer pain points, demonstrate how CodeSignal's platform addresses those challenges and put in place technical solutions that help alleviate that pain will be crucial to our success. You'll conduct powerful product demonstrations, respond to technical inquiries, and help Customers realize how our solutions can transform their hiring & learning practices. Your technical credibility and consultative approach will be key differentiators in our competitive landscape.
Day-to-Day
Work closely with content engineering, customer success, and talent science to craft solutions for customers’ needs
Run product enablement trainings and technical working sessions with clients
Gather insight and feedback and work cross functionally with Product to qualify, prioritize, and implement
Mentor Solution Engineer teammates, etc.
Basic Qualifications
Pacific Standard/Daylight Time working hours
Proven experience in a Client or Prospect facing role
4+ years of experience in a B2B enterprise environment
Experience shipping production code with at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, Javascript, etc.)
Familiarity with at least one database flavor (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Strong presentation skills with both technical and non-technical
Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Demonstrated success in highly collaborative environments
Strong affinity for using AI tools in solving complex problems in a more efficient manner
Preferred Qualifications
Experience configuring and implementing technical assessment solutions
Technical expertise in at least one of the following areas:
Front-end web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
Backend technologies
Data analysis, visualization, Data science, Data engineering
Cloud technology architectures - AWS, GCP, Azure
Understanding of technical recruiting challenges and assessment methodologies
Experience working with ATS platforms (Oracle HCM, Workday experience a bonus) and HR technology ecosystems
