You would be the third accounting hire at Gem and will work closely with the Controller, VP of Finance & Head of Operations. This role is an incredible growth opportunity for aspiring Controllers. What you’ll do day-to-day Accounting operations: accounts payable, payroll & commission processing, expense reports reviews, and general procurement reviews. Technical accounting: lease and sublease accounting, internal use software, Share-based compensation, expense reporting Close process: preparing journal entries, general ledger reconciliation and flux analysis Audit coordination, investor reporting requirements and tax filings Optimizing internal financial processes Quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Administration of key finance systems, including ERP, AP/AR, Payroll.
