Senior BI Developer

<p><strong>The opportunity</strong><br>The ideal candidate will partner with leaders across Unity’s Create Organization to support their Data and Analytics needs. You will bridge the gap between cross-functional stakeholders and Business Intelligence, transforming complex business requirements into scalable analytical solutions. A core part of this role is advancing our data modeling capabilities—designing, implementing, and optimizing robust data models that enable accurate reporting, deeper insights, and efficient self-service analytics.</p> <p>You will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining reliable data pipelines and semantic layers; building dashboards and reports that surface actionable insights; and performing in-depth analyses of customer and user behavior, as well as product usage trends. Your work will empower partner teams to make informed, data-driven decisions that enhance customer experience, reduce churn, and increase satisfaction and long-term retention.</p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Architect, develop, and maintain reliable data pipelines and semantic layers</li> <li>Work with business leaders to define core business metrics and create dashboards and tools to monitor health of the business</li> <li>Visualization domain expert with BI Platforms and various data visualization tools</li> <li>Reconcile data between diverse set of tools, assure accuracy and drive data flow improvements, and maintain data quality and integrity of the data</li> <li>Work directly with internal collaborators to understand data needs and develop scalable solutions with rapid development and re-usability in mind</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li>Architect, develop, and maintain reliable data pipelines and semantic layers</li> <li>Build and maintain dashboards and self-service analytics tools using BI platforms (Hex, Looker, etc.)</li> <li>Translate stakeholder team requirements into scalable and insightful visualizations.</li> <li>Educate stakeholders on BI tools and promote a data-driven culture.</li> <li>Ensure data integrity and accuracy across customer success reporting systems.</li> <li>Partner with data engineering to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes</li> <li>Maintain documentation on metrics definitions and dashboard usage.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional information</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relocation support is not available for this position</li> <li>Work visa/immigration sponsorship is not available for this position</li> </ul> <p><strong>Life at Unity</strong></p> <p>Unity [NYSE: U] is the world’s leading game engine, powering play for more than 3 billion consumers each month.
