Program Overview The Polymarket Legal Summer Associate Program provides paid, hands-on experience across a broad in-house legal platform, including: - Emerging technologies (prediction markets, blockchain, digital assets, and AI) - Data privacy and cybersecurity - Commercial contracts and negotiations (including marketing and partnership agreements) - Cleared derivatives and commodities regulation - Federal, state, and international litigation - Corporate governance and compliance About Polymarket Polymarket operates both an international blockchain-based prediction market platform and a federally regulated CFTC-registered derivatives exchange in the United States. Summer Associate Qualifications (Eligible After Completion of 1L Year) Applicants must: - Have successfully completed their first year (1L) at an ABA-accredited law school - Be in good academic standing - Demonstrate strong research, writing, and analytical skills - Submit a (1) resume, (2) cover letter, and (3) transcript Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate value through academic work, professional experience, leadership, technical fluency, entrepreneurial initiatives, or other experiences reflecting intellectual rigor, resilience, and initiative. An optional 250-word statement may describe relevant interests, challenges navigated, or the perspective the applicant would bring to an in-house legal team.
