This order of magnitude increase in speed is transforming the user experience of AI applications, unlocking real-time iteration and increasing intelligence via additional agentic computation.</p></div><h4>About The Role</h4> <p>As Director, Compliance at Cerebras, you will have a broad and critical mandate that includes structuring and administering our international trade compliance program, as well as complex contract compliance programs (including government programs) and assisting with privacy, ethics, anti-corruption and other regulatory compliance. You will partner closely with all departments to ensure that the company’s products and operations comply with U.S. and international laws, public company regulatory obligations, and contractual commitments.</p> <p>This role will afford you the opportunity to work on high visibility and cutting edge legal and compliance issues at the intersection of AI and advanced compute. The ideal candidate has deep experience in export-controlled technology environments, government-regulated industries, and fast-scaling global organizations.</p> <p>This role will report directly to the General Counsel.</p> <h4>Responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li>Design, implement and maintain a global compliance program aligned with U.S. and global export control regimes, including EAR and OFAC.</li> <li>Support ECCN classification and technical export analyses for advanced semiconductor and AI hardware products.</li> <li>Monitor and educate on regulatory developments at the intersection of AI and advanced compute.</li> <li>Design, implement and maintain compliance programs for complex commercial agreements, including government contracts and programs.</li> <li>Assist with other critical compliance matters, including privacy, supply chain, environmental, code of conduct and ethics, and anti-corruption.</li> <li>Build a scalable compliance training program for global employees.</li> <li>Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on compliance risk and strategy.</li> </ul> <h4><span data-contrast="none">Skills And Qualifications </span> <span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335559685":0,"335559737":240,"335559738":240,"335559739":240,"335559740":279}"> </span></h4> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in legal, compliance or regulatory roles.</li> <li>Experience in semiconductors, advanced compute, cloud infrastructure, aerospace/defense, or other export-controlled industries strongly preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with export and sanctions programs, as well as some experience and interest in federal programs.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with building and scaling enterprise compliance and training programs in high-growth environments.</li> <li>Ability to comm ...
