<h3>ABOUT THE ROLE</h3>
<p>As Anduril scales production and deployment of advanced autonomous aircraft systems, sustainment excellence becomes mission-critical. We are seeking a <strong>Chief Engineer of Fury Sustainment </strong>to lead the technical strategy, operational execution, and lifecycle performance of deployed aircraft fleets. You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams driving continuous improvement across the sustainment lifecycle. This role is responsible for ensuring fleet readiness, availability, reliability, and long-term airworthiness across operational environments.<br><br></p>
<h3>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h3>
<ul>
<li>Own the technical vision and execution for aircraft sustainment engineering across deployed fleets</li>
<li>Develop and implement strategies to improve aircraft safety, reliability, maintainability, and operational availability</li>
<li>Serve as chief technical authority for sustainment-related engineering decisions</li>
<li>Lead technical investigations into fleet issues, aging aircraft concerns, and failure events</li>
<li>Provide technical guidance and leadership for the development of tools to support maintenance tracking and prediction.</li>
<li>Analyze operational data to identify reliability drivers and implement corrective design or process actions</li>
<li>Drive reliability growth programs and continuous performance improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Oversee development of repair schemes, including composite repair analysis and validation</li>
<li>Direct failure analysis investigations and root cause corrective actions</li>
<li>Oversee sustainment-related manufacturing engineering activities, including: Traditional and additive manufacturing solutions for repair, tooling development to support maintenance, overhaul, and check visits</li>
<li>Adapt and refine production process standards for sustainment applications</li>
<li>Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams</li>
<li>Partner with engineering, program management, production, supply chain, flight operations, and quality teams</li>
</ul>
<h3>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h3>
<ul>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field</li>
<li>10+ years of aerospace engineering experience, including sustainment, fleet engineering, or airworthiness leadership</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary aircraft engineering teams</li>
<li>Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance practices, MRO operations, and regulatory compliance</li>
<li>Experience supporting fielded aircraft programs in operational environments</li>
</ul>
<h3>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience supporting autonomous or unmanned aircraft systems</li>
<li>Experience scaling sustainment operations for rapidly growing fleets</li>
<li>Familiarity with military airworthiness frameworks</li>
</ul>
