You will have the opportunity to directly impact the direction and architecture of our observability platform, focusing on developer enablement, platform architecture and reliability. If you are a seasoned engineer that excels where software development meets infrastructure please apply. </p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, write, and maintain software that enables developers to efficiently interact with our observability platform.</li> <li>Lead the modernization of our observability platform architecture by evolving it toward scalable, cloud-native and OpenTelemetry-aligned standards.</li> <li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design solutions that are intuitive, efficient, scalable, and reliable.</li> <li>Provide technical leadership for the Observability team to design and implement strategies for improving observability standards, optimizing costs, and enabling product teams.</li> <li>Lead the development of software solutions to enable engineers to seamlessly use metrics, monitors, traces and logs.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance developer productivity.</li> <li>Collaborate with engineers and vendors to integrate solutions seamlessly into cloud environments.</li> <li>Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in observability and software engineering.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.</li> <li>4+ years of software development and/or observability related experience.</li> <li>Expertise in observability platforms components and administration.</li> <li>Strong programming fundamentals (Go/Python).</li> <li>Expertise in enterprise observability best practices.</li> <li>Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices.</li> <li>Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices (e.g. Terraform).</li> <li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab ArgoCD).</li> <li>Familiarity with AI tools and their utilization into daily work (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Glean etc ).</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about observability platform design.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with curating and improving observability tools at scale.</li> <li>Experience with open telemetry and open telemetry collectors.</li> <li>Experience developing observability automation.</li> <li>Experience with security and compliance in cloud environments.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><div class="gmail_default"><strong>Compensation and Benefits ...
