With this focus on business strategy, quality supply and international expansion, the team is leading the way for Airbnb’s continued growth and facilitation of millions more host and guest connections.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;"><strong>The Difference You will Make:</strong></span></p> <p>The Homes Global Business team is looking for a<strong> </strong><strong>Senior Business Data Analyst</strong> to be responsible for business analysis, recommendations for business strategy, and special data projects for the Stays Business. </p> <p>Your work will include:</p> <ul> <li>Building data support and run analysis to determine key business trends on supply, demand, product, and make recommendations to Regional Supply Leaders </li> <li>Delivering data and insights to enable the company’s growth efforts</li> <li>Providing mentorships and support to junior business analysts and in close partnership with Advanced Analytics team</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;"><strong>A Typical Day: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Run business data for regional teams</li> <li>Build tools and equip regional teams (Homes Regional Supply Leaders, Country Managers, and Business Operations) with the relevant data support to make actionable decisions</li> <li>Deep dive on trends to support planning cycle and business performance review</li> <li>Assist to leadership inquiries, providing data driven insights driven insights quickly and accurately by leveraging tools such as SQL, excel and Tableau</li> <li>Develop actionable business analysis</li> <li>Work with Strategic Finance and Advanced Analytics team to assess business performance (across multiple forums) and deep dive into areas of strength and weakness of the countries</li> <li>Enable functional leads to provide consistent information to their teams and stakeholders</li> <li>Create decks to communicate strategy and business performance to key stakeholders</li> <li>Support on special projects (e.g., analyses into new market expansion performance, impact of product campaigns)</li> <li>Provide analytical support on key cross-functional projects</li> <li>Assist ongoing projects with progress tracking and measurement capabilities such as performance dashboards</li> <li>Partner with functional teams (comms, marketing, and product) team to better understand ROI and drive actions</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;"><strong>Your Expertise:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>8+ years of relevant experience in business analysis</li> <li>Extensive relevant work experience in data science with strong business background in consumer</li> <li>Strong fluency in SQL, Tableau.
