<p><em>The application deadline for this position is March 26, 2026.</em></p> <p> </p> <p>Inside HRT is an introductory, three-day program designed for undergraduate students who are curious about quantitative finance but have little or no prior exposure to the industry. The program aims to provide essential learning that removes barriers and creates opportunity for high-potential students pursuing a degree in computer science, mathematics, or another STEM-related field. Participants will have a unique opportunity to learn about HRT’s technical roles, explore real-world challenges through hands-on problem-solving, and engage directly with HRTers for an immersive and interactive learning experience in our New York City headquarters.</p> <p><strong>Program Details</strong></p> <ul> <li>Dates: May 18–20, 2026</li> <li>Location: HRT Headquarters, New York City, NY</li> <li>Travel and Lodging: Travel and hotel accommodations will be provided. Participants should plan to arrive on May 17th and depart on May 21st.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What to Expect</strong></p> <p>Throughout the three-day program, students will participate in engaging tech talks, interactive panels, and hands-on workshops, gaining valuable insights into software engineering and quantitative research at HRT. In addition to these sessions, students will have plenty of opportunities to network with HRTers and experience our collaborative culture firsthand.</p> <p><strong>Eligibility Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Full-time undergraduate students graduating between December 2027 and August 2028</li> <li>Pursuing a degree in a quantitative discipline (i.e. mathematics, computer science, or another STEM-related field)</li> <li>A strong interest in technology and a passion for learning and solving problems</li> <li>Basic programming skills and familiarity with Python or C++ are required</li> <li>Attending this summit does not require prior knowledge of finance, only an interest in learning! </li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Details</strong></p> <ul> <li>The application for this program includes a resume submission and two short response questions (less than 200 words each).
