Account Executive, Public Sector (Tokyo Based)

What You Can Expect As a member of our dynamic public sector team, you will serve as an Account Executive, working with customers such as local governments, hospitals, and educational institutions to drive digital transformation through our AI-powered communication platform. Reporting to the Public Sector & Education Leader in Tokyo, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of technology in Japan's public sector. About the Team Work with customers to provide the appropriate Zoom services that meet all their communication needs, including phone, contact center, AI-driven solutions, and traditional video conferencing. Responsibilities Partnering with public sector clients to identify communication challenges and recommend tailored Zoom solutions across video, phone, contact center, and AI capabilities Developing and managing sales pipeline through account mapping, forecasting, and strategic opportunity identification Collaborating with channel and strategic partners to expand market reach and deliver integrated solutions Conducting product demonstrations that showcase platform value and address specific customer pain points Building trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders across education, local government, and healthcare sectors What We're Looking For Bring 7+ years of professional experience with 3+ years in public sector technology sales Demonstrate solution-focused selling by addressing customer challenges with platform value rather than product features Manage complex sales cycles including pipeline development, account planning, and accurate forecasting Work effectively with channel partners and strategic alliances to drive joint success Conduct compelling product demonstrations with strategic messaging tailored to audience needs Communicate fluently in Japanese for business contexts with willingness to develop English proficiency Achieve consistent sales results while ensuring high client satisfaction and retention Have BA/BS or equivalent practical experience 期待される役割 ダイナミックな公共部門チームの一員として、アカウントエグゼクティブとしてご活躍いただきます。地方自治体、病院、教育機関などのお客様と協力し、AI 搭載のコミュニケーションプラットフォームを通じてデジタルトランスフォーメーションを推進していただきます。公共部門・教育部門責任者の下、日本の公共部門におけるテクノロジーの未来を形作る重要な役割を担っていただきます。 チームについて お客様と協力し、電話、コンタクトセンター、そしてAIを筆頭に、従来からあるビデオ会議含めたあらゆるコミュニケーションのニーズにあった適切なZoomのサービスを提供していただきます。 求めるスキル/経験 公共セクターのテクノロジー営業経験 3 年以上を含む、7 年以上の実務経験 製品機能ではなくプラットフォーム価値で顧客課題に対応する、ソリューション重視の営業スタイルの実践経験 パイプライン開発、アカウントプランニング、正確な予測を含む複雑な営業サイクル管理経験 チャネルパートナーや戦略的アライアンスと効果的に連携し、共同での成功を推進した経験 聴衆のニーズに合わせた戦略的メッセージングによる、説得力のある製品デモンストレーションの実施経験 ビジネスレベルの日本語でのコミュニケーション能力、および英語力向上への意欲 高い顧客満足度と継続率を確保しながら、一貫した営業成果の達成をした経験 学士号または同等の実務経験 Ways of Working Our structured hybrid approach is centered around our offices and remote work environments.
