<p><strong>What you get to do in this role:</strong><strong> </strong> </p><ul><li>As a Software Engineer in the ITAM Content Service team, your responsibilities will include</li><li>Using the latest technologies to build end to end features in our Content Infrastructure by implementing scalable designs, integrating ServiceNow capabilities with cutting edge AI technologies</li><li>Implement and optimize AI model services and integrate Generative AI models such as OpenAI, Gemini, and Claude LLMs into enterprise workflows</li><li>Design and develop applications within the ServiceNow platform while writing clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)</li><li>Design and develop custom ServiceNow Service Portal widgets, pages, and applications to create intuitive user experiences.</li><li>Build APIs, microservices, and user interfaces that enable seamless interaction with AI powered features</li><li>Implement prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation (RAG strategies for delivering best in class features.</li><li>Learn in depth the Asset Management product and help in designing, developing & enhancing curation workflows.</li><li>Work with Product Management, Application developers, Content Curators, and quality team towards defining the right ITAM content infrastructure</li><li>As a member of the content Infrastructure development team, be willing to jump into firefighting on infrastructure or operational issues at short notice</li></ul>
<p><strong>To be successful in this role you have:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.</li><li>4+ years of software development experience with strong command of Python/Java and/or JavaScript.</li><li>Hands-on experience developing LLM-powered or agent-based systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Agno, or similar orchestration tools.</li><li>Deep understanding of REST APIs, event-driven systems, asynchronous workflows, and scalable back-end design.</li><li>Experience implementing generative AI models in enterprise workflow applications.</li><li>Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns, with attention to performance and scalability.</li><li>Experience deploying AI or automation systems in production, emphasizing versioning, traceability, and performance monitoring.</li><li>Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and prompt optimization.</li><li>Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform or willingness to learn it.</li><li>Strong focus on code quality, observability, and operational excellence in AI workflows.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to leverage or critically evaluate AI integration in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving — including using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, and exploring AI’s impact on business functions.</li></u ...
