Description  We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer with a minimum of 5-8 years track record of relevant work experience.  Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Experience: 5-8 Years Roles & Responsibilities: • Design and implement robust data models, schemas, and data warehousing solutions using the Snowflake platform. • Manage end-to-end data migration processes, including data extraction from various sources, transformation, and loading into Snowflake (ETL/ELT). • Leverage Snowflake-specific features such as semi-structured data handling, secure data sharing, and advanced security capabilities. • Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data movement into and within Snowflake. • Optimize Snowflake configurations and fine-tune SQL queries to enhance performance and scalability. • Enforce data quality controls and implement security protocols to safeguard sensitive data. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including performance bottlenecks and data quality concerns. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions. • Create and maintain clear technical documentation covering data models, ETL processes, and overall architecture. Skills Required: • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and industry best practices. • Proficient in SQL for data manipulation, advanced querying, and performance tuning. • Skilled in designing and implementing data models, including star and snowflake schemas, within Snowflake. • Experienced in ETL/ELT processes and integration tools used with Snowflake. • Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines using tools such as Informatica. • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly as they relate to Snowflake's cloud-native platform. • Capable of diagnosing and resolving performance issues in Snowflake environments and SQL queries. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder engagement. • Familiar with version control systems like Git for managing code and development workflows. • Well-versed in data security standards and best practices.
