Our independence keeps us nimble, thoughtful, and resourceful, allowing us to invest in the best talent in the business. Role Overview This role will support major global and Japanese brands. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Account Executive, Brand to oversee multiple workstreams across product and brand equity initiatives, working in partnership with a passionate, integrated team to deliver best in class work. Responsibilities: Contribute to the creation of integrated communications plans that meet client objectives. Assist with client correspondence such as daily updates and activity reports. Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, anticipating challenges and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content. Effectively manage relationships with external partners, including organizations and influencers. Develop and lead traditional earned media strategies and programs. Supervise junior staff through motivation, coaching, and consistent feedback. Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values, Code of Ethics, and Business Conduct. Qualifications: Two to three years of relevant experience in public relations or related fields including advertising, management consulting, brand strategy, media, or publishing. Business level proficiency in English reading and writing and fluent Japanese. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Ability to develop communications plans, implement tactics, and mentor junior team members. Deep understanding of client accounts, including their businesses, products, markets, personnel, influencers, and competitors. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment. Solid grasp of public relations tools and their application to achieve client goals. Strong writing and editing skills. Fundamental understanding of media relations and the ability to develop effective traditional and online media strategies. Proactive self starter with excellent organizational and project management skills; adaptable and deadline oriented.
