Software Engineer

Meet the Team Cisco IT is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our IT development organization. You will be part of a team of highly proficient software engineers dedicated to implementing and deploying Cisco's next generation of IT software. Your Impact As a Software Engineer at Cisco, you will: Craft and develop private and public cloud software with integrated automation and monitoring tools. Work with software development teams in an Agile DevOps model. Operate within a highly Agile development environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with teams across the globe and flexibility to work from home. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of software development experience with Angular, Java full stack, PL/SQL, and databases like MongoDB and Oracle Experience working with data structures, Kafka, and ELK. Experience in using Angular for Java development. Preferred Qualifications Good Communication. Should be able to collaborate across teams Familiarity with scalable system design and performance optimization Why Cisco?
