Head of Bookkeeping

<p>As the Head of Bookkeeping at Wix, you'll lead the Accounting Department, ensuring smooth and accurate financial processes while mentoring a team of talented professionals. In your day-to-day, you will&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><ul><li><p>Lead and manage the Accounting Department (7 team members), including planning, mentoring, performance feedback, and quality control&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Own end-to-end bookkeeping operations (AP, AR, bank reconciliations, credit cards, journal entries, fixed assets, and payments)&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Lead the monthly/quarterly/year-end close process and ensure accuracy under tight deadlines&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, cut-off, accruals, and prepaids; investigate and resolve discrepancies&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Support internal/external audits and improve accounting procedures, controls, and automation&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li></ul><p><strong>**&#xa0;&#xa0;</strong></p><p><strong>At Wix, we believe our best work happens together. Flexibility remains a core value at Wix and special requests are handled thoughtfully at the team level.&#xa0; </strong></p> <ul><li><p>5–8+ years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping, including hands-on close processes&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Certified Bookkeeper / Bookkeeping Certificate (Type 3) – mandatory&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Strong ERP experience (advantage: Oracle/SAP/NetSuite) and payment platforms (e.g., Tipalti)&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data validation, large datasets)&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Good English and Hebrew proficiency (written and spoken)&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li><li><p>Experience with SOX/internal controls, audits, and process automation – an advantage</p></li></ul> <p>We are Wix’s Finance Group.
