Software Engineer Team Lead for Viewer

<p>As a FED Team Leader with the viewer team, you will make an impact as we develop a massive-scale application (written in Typescript), which is the rendering engine of Wix websites.</p><ul><li><p>Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship</p></li><li><p>Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits</p></li><li><p>Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with various stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain extraordinary features</p></li><li><p>Tackle tough problems in complex business flows and find creative ways to solve them</p></li></ul> <ul><li><p>An experienced software engineer with 4+ years of engineering experience and at least 2 years of experience leading a team.</p></li><li><p>Experienced with large-scale web applications and enjoy touching every frontend and backend aspect of the application</p></li><li><p>Creative, fast learner who enjoys overcoming challenges in a complex environment.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills, an inherent willingness to help others and the ability to deep dive into complex applications</p></li><li><p>Proactive, with a desire to always understand why things are done the way they are.</p></li></ul> <p>We are the Viewer company. We’re responsible for the rendering engine behind every site created with Wix editors. The viewer is a single application that supports rendering, both on server and client, on all platforms, with a special emphasis on performance. We work on projects that affect the entire company, all Wix users and users of users. We’re focused on performance, reliability, company-wide projects integration, velocity and product (always adding new features).</p>
