You will partner closely with the team to accelerate the evolution of our internal system portfolio application, ensuring it is reliable, extensible, and capable of integrating deeply across our ecosystem. This role requires strong, recent hands-on development experience in Golang and modern JavaScript, with a bias toward automation, clean architecture, and pragmatic delivery. You should be comfortable operating with high autonomy—given the “why,” you define the “what,” “how,” and sequencing.</p> <p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own significant portions of our internal system portfolio application end-to-end, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and operational excellence.</li> <li>Partner with the team to define and execute the long-term technical roadmap for the platform, ensuring it scales as a backbone system across multiple teams and initiatives.</li> <li>Design and implement backend services in Golang and frontend components in JavaScript for a SPA architecture.</li> <li>Build and maintain robust integrations with internal systems and third-party/vendor APIs, including designing resilient data ingestion, normalization, and synchronization workflows.</li> <li>Improve the system’s data model, performance characteristics, and reliability as adoption and use cases expand.</li> <li>Drive engineering quality: establish patterns for observability, testing strategy, CI/CD integration, and maintainability.</li> <li>Identify and lead meaningful refactors, migrations, and architectural improvements as the product matures.</li> <li>Conduct thorough pull request reviews and provide direct technical mentorship to engineers contributing to the system.</li> <li>Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code or similar) to accelerate development while maintaining high standards for correctness, security, and maintainability.</li> <li>Partner with Product, Security, and Platform stakeholders to ensure the application integrates cleanly with broader organizational workflows and technical systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Need to Succeed</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience owning a substantial, long-lived product or platform component end-to-end, including defining scope, driving architecture, coordinating cross-team dependencies, and delivering measurable outcomes.</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience in Golang and modern TypeScript (SPA frameworks), with the ability to design clean service boundaries and maintainable frontend architectures.</li> <li>Experience designing and maintaining API integrations across heterogeneous internal and external systems.</li> <li>Proven ability to lead significant refactors, migrations, or architectural improvements while maintaining system stability and delivery momentum.</li> <li>A systems-thinking mindset with a track record of improving engineering operations (testing, CI/CD, observability, code health) and balancing feature velocity with reliability and maintainability.</li> <li>Recent, me ...
